At 150.000 m2, therefrom 13.000 m2 roofed MCE Aschersleben manufactures pressure vessels and heat exchanger as well as welded equipment for power, process industries and infrastructure.
MCE Aschersleben employs about 100 highly specialised and motivated people. In its 120-year history, MCE Aschersleben became well known as a competent and reliable partner in international plant engineering projects. Our products are working in over 50 countries at 5 continents.

History
120 years of experience with a challenging history MCE became a pioneer of the industry. Since 2017 we work independently from Aschersleben for our international projects. We are acting customer-oriented focussing on high quality standards.
MCE Aschersleben is "Made in Gemany" since 1898.
- 2017 - Bilfinger MCE Aschersleben becomes MCE Aschersleben again
- 2010 - With the acquisition of MCE AG by Bilfinger SE, MCE Aschersleben GmbH becomes part of the business segment Power
- 2008 - Deutsche Beteiligungs AG acquires 100% of the shares in MCE AG from Andlinger Group
- 2001 - In the course of the privatization of "VOEST", a private investor, "Andlinger Group" acquired 100% of the shares in VOEST MCE
- 1995 - Acquisition of 100% at JV Rohrbau by Voest MCE AG, Linz
- 1990 Acquisition of workshops by Lentjes AG, Düsseldorf and integration in JV Piping with Voest Alpine AG, Linz
- Until 1990 "Rohrleitungsbau Aschersleben" is part of state owned Combined Power Engineering Group - KAB, Berlin
- From 1920 Export of power engineering equipment to several european countries as well as to South America and Dutch East India
- 1916 Introduction of autogenous welding technology
- 1. Nov. 1898 Robert Thieme establishes "Hinter dem Turm 7" a copper-workshop in Aschersleben
